The "AeroSR2"concept is previewing a vehicle announced for 2019.
The bodywork is derived from the innovations developed with Renault Trucks - Volvo Group in the framework of the Urban Lab 2 project which received the Low Emission Cinematography Chain Award.		  
     
 
   
 
     
  Safelight Full LED - First on security
The new “Safelight Full LED” rear lighting ramp intended for rigids and semi-trailers has been nominated in the Trailer Innovations Awards, in the “Safety” category.
This equipment offers a high position – where it is most visible – the return on each function of the lights, as well as the integration of working lights to illuminate the tailgate zone. 		 
     
 
   
 
     
  CX System - Internal Air Flow Optimizer
The patented IAFO system revolutionizes internal airflow in refrigerated semi-trailers in the entire SR2 range. This three-component system, featuring the spectacular open air guide, generates powerful airflow that goes right to the back and a floor-level return air current. This results in even loading area temperatures to the nearest 0.5°C and cuts refrigeration unit energy consumption.
  
     
 
   
 
     
  SR2 Distri+ New Roller shutter door
The Distri+ roller-shutter door meets the challenges of distribution logistics:
- loading capacity of 33 pallets in multi-temperatures
- specially engineered aeraulics in the rear compartment ensures that the temperatures stays homogeneous within 0,5°C at any location
- clearance height adapted to high -load pallets, while preserving 4 meters of overall height

  Technology - Composite versus Steel – the fried egg test
The insulation quality of pre-formed foam polyester composite panels is 16% better than foam-injected panels with metal cladding. The fried egg test – steel’s thermal conductivity is 100 times higher than that of polyester. The use of steel cladding on thin wall which is common practice in the transport industry is a source of inefficiency and higher losses.		  
     
 
   
 
     
  CX System - Optiflow aerodynamic fairing
The patented "Optiflow" side fairing makes significant energy consumption savings in the whole SR2 range. Its "EasyMaintenance" design does not adversely affect operation.
